In the mountains northeast of Mexico City, there are Otomi communities not well known to the outside world. However, one of their embroidery styles, called Tenango, is famous and graces this 100% cotton table runner. Created by Guadalupe Navarro, it features multicolored deer, birds and flowers native to the region.
